Payment, Fees, & Insurance

It takes courage to admit we need help, even more, to pick up the phone and reach out. Below are answers to a few frequently asked questions informing you of how we work and who we are; to support your effort in moving forward in Jacksonville.

How much does it cost?

The first initial 50-60 -minute consultation/counseling fee is $110. From there rates vary from $40 – $130, depending on the degree level, the experience of the therapist and your financial situation. If you are unable to afford the full cost of therapy, we have the “Client Subsidy Fund” which allows us to offer a sliding scale fee based on your circumstances and household income.

Late Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy

Sessions are reserved for you, and you are responsible for payment for that time.
There is no charge for sessions canceled 24-hours prior to the scheduled appointment. However, those canceling less than 24 hours will incur a charge to the client’s credit card on file. Refunds for these late fees are not given. Repeat “no-show” or “late-canceled” appointments could result in the termination of treatment.

Insurance companies, EAP providers, or other responsible third-parties do not accept claims for missed or unused appointments. You are responsible for the payment of late appointments at the rate you are scheduled.
